Dear Chachaji,
There is something my mom reiterated to me on my Birthday this year, which is very inspiring and your poem below...reminded me of the poem I wrote to capture her inspiring message to me...
लाख चाहो इसे मगर ,
चाहने से नहीं मिलती ,
किसी को भी सफलता ,
विरासत में नहीं मिलती ।
This poem is dedicated to my mother who is very principled and sincere person, also one of the bravest people I know...this was her message to me..
Here goes...
"Meri maa yeh aksar kehti hai
Jiyo jaise ek nadi behti hai
Chattaan se mukabla,gandagi ki parvah bina
Nirantar cheshta, man meain ho chetna
Teevrata se chalo, apni raah par atal
utaar, chadhaav, raho nirdar aur nirmal
Meri maa yeh aksar kehti hai
Jiyo jaise ek nadi behti hai"
